These Terms and Conditions explain how Get Me Known provides website services and how our website may be used.
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, accepting a quote, or agreeing to proceed with a project, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
In these terms, “Get Me Known”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Get Me Known.
1. About Get Me Known
Get Me Known provides simple, guided website services for small Australian businesses.
The focus is on practical business websites that help explain what a business does, build trust, and make it easier for customers to get in touch.
Get Me Known is not a complex software development service, advanced marketing agency, SEO agency, IT provider, or business coaching service.
ABN: 89 276 437 133
2. Website information
The information on this website is general in nature and is provided to explain our services.
We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current or error-free.
We may update, change or remove website content at any time.
3. Services
The main service offered by Get Me Known is the Starter Website Package.
The Starter Website Package is designed for small businesses that need a straightforward professional website without dealing with the technical setup themselves.
The package may include items such as:

- mobile-friendly design
- clear service, about, trust and contact sections
- contact form or enquiry button
- domain connection guidance
- one review round
- launch support
The exact inclusions for each project will be confirmed before work begins.
Any project timing or launch estimate is an estimate only unless expressly stated as a fixed deadline in the accepted quote.
Timeframes may depend on client responses, supplied materials, third-party tools, domain access, DNS propagation, revision requests, payment timing and other matters outside Get Me Known’s reasonable control.
4. Optional extras
Optional extras may be available where suitable, such as:
- extra pages
- booking link or calendar embed
- gallery or project showcase
- blog or news setup
- Google Business Profile guidance
- basic site analytics
- monthly content or simple social posts
- additional review rounds
- additional copywriting help
- extra forms or custom sections
Optional extras are not included in the base package unless agreed in writing.
5. What is not included
Unless agreed separately, the Starter Website Package does not include:
- domain registration costs
- paid third-party tools or subscriptions
- complex email or IT setup
- advanced SEO services
- paid advertising
- advanced analytics setup
- ecommerce functionality
- complex custom web applications
- large-scale copywriting
- logo design or full brand strategy
- unlimited revisions
- ongoing support after launch
- major changes after approval
If something falls outside the agreed package, we can discuss whether it can be quoted separately.
6. Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on the website are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.
The Starter Website Package price is intended as a clear starting package. Any additional work, optional extras, or changes outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
A project only begins once the scope, price and payment terms have been agreed, the required deposit has been paid, and the required project information or materials have been provided.
7. Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins.
Unless agreed otherwise in the accepted quote, payment is structured as:
- 50% deposit payable before work begins
- 50% final payment payable before production launch, domain connection, final file transfer or handover
Work may be paused if payment is overdue.
Final launch, domain connection, transfer of files, or handover may be withheld until all agreed fees and third-party costs have been paid.
Third-party costs, such as domain registration, paid booking tools, hosting upgrades, email services, plugins, subscriptions or other external services, are the responsibility of the client unless agreed otherwise.
8. Client responsibilities
To keep the project moving, clients are responsible for providing information, feedback and approvals in a reasonable timeframe.
This may include:
- business details
- service information
- contact details
- images, logos or brand assets
- domain access or DNS information, where needed
- booking links or third-party account access, where needed
- feedback during the review stage
- approval before launch
Delays in providing required information may delay the project.
If a client does not provide required information, feedback, access, approval or payment within a reasonable timeframe, the project may be paused. If the project remains inactive for 30 days or more, Get Me Known may close the project and quote separately to restart it.
9. Content, images and supplied materials
Clients are responsible for providing the information and materials needed to complete the project.
This may include logos, images, photos, brand files, written content, testimonials, service information, business details, links, documents, login details, or other project materials.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the right to provide, use and publish any materials they send to Get Me Known. This includes making sure they have permission to use images, logos, written content, testimonials, brand assets, photos of people, and any third-party material.
Clients must not provide content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, confidential without permission, or otherwise inappropriate.
Get Me Known may refuse to use supplied material if we reasonably believe it is unsuitable, unlawful, misleading, infringing, low quality, unsafe, outside the agreed scope, or not appropriate for the website.
Unless agreed otherwise, we may store reasonable copies of project materials, communications and completed work for business, support, record-keeping, legal, tax or administrative purposes.
10. Access details and account security
Where access to a domain, hosting account, booking tool, form tool, analytics account, email account or other third-party service is required, the client should provide access using secure methods where practical, such as temporary access, user invitations, delegated access or secure password sharing.
Clients should not send passwords or sensitive access details by ordinary email unless there is no reasonable alternative.
The client remains responsible for maintaining ownership and control of their domain, accounts, subscriptions and login credentials unless agreed otherwise.
11. Review rounds and changes
The Starter Website Package includes one review round unless agreed otherwise.
A review round is intended for reasonable refinements to the agreed direction, such as wording changes, image swaps, section order or small layout adjustments.
Major changes, extra pages, new features, a change in direction, or changes requested after approval may be quoted separately.
12. Launch
Before launch, the client will be asked to review and approve the website.
Once the client approves the website for launch and final payment has been received, we will help with the agreed launch steps.
Get Me Known is not responsible for delays caused by third-party providers, domain registrars, DNS propagation, unavailable login details, client delays, or external tools outside our control.
13. Client review and accuracy
Before launch, the client must review the website and confirm that key business details, contact details, services, service areas, claims, images, testimonials, links and other content are accurate and approved for publication.
Get Me Known may assist with light copy shaping and layout, but the client remains responsible for the accuracy of business information, claims, pricing, qualifications, licences, service descriptions, testimonials and supplied materials.
If errors are identified after launch, Get Me Known will correct issues caused by our work within the included post-launch bug-fix period where applicable. Changes to client-supplied information, new content, new sections, new features or changes outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
14. Third-party services
Projects may rely on third-party services such as:
- domain registrars
- hosting providers
- Cloudflare
- Cal.com
- FormSubmit or other form tools
- Google services
- analytics tools
- email providers
Third-party services are subject to their own terms, pricing, availability and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, feature changes, data handling or issues caused by third-party services.
15. Domains and account ownership
Where possible, clients should own and control their own domain name and important third-party accounts.
We may provide guidance on connecting a domain or setting up practical tools, but domain registration costs and account ownership remain the client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
16. SEO, analytics and results
Get Me Known may include basic website structure and practical setup intended to support a clear, usable website.
Unless agreed separately, we do not provide advanced SEO services, paid advertising, ranking campaigns, conversion optimisation, or marketing strategy.
We do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, leads, enquiries, bookings, revenue or business growth.
A website can support trust and enquiries, but results depend on many factors outside our control, including market demand, competition, pricing, reputation, content, advertising, search behaviour and ongoing business activity.
17. Intellectual property
Clients retain ownership of the business content, logos, images, photos, brand assets and other materials they provide, subject to any rights held by third parties.
The client is responsible for ensuring they have permission to use and publish any materials they provide.
Once the agreed project fees have been paid in full, the client receives the right to use the completed website for their business.
Unless agreed otherwise, Get Me Known retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, reusable frameworks, templates, components, code patterns, processes, know-how, working files and general methods used to create websites.
Get Me Known may reuse general layouts, structures, components, code, processes and methods across projects, provided we do not reuse a client’s private business information, supplied materials, logos, images, testimonials or client-specific content without permission.
Third-party tools, fonts, images, plugins, platforms, software and services remain subject to their own licence terms.
18. Portfolio use
We will not use a client’s business name, website link, screenshots, project description, supplied content, logo, images or other project material in our portfolio, website, social media, proposals or marketing material unless the client gives separate written approval.
Portfolio approval is separate from website launch approval.
If approval is given, the client may later ask us to remove or stop using portfolio material where practical, although material already published or shared may not be able to be fully withdrawn from all locations.
19. Confidentiality
We will treat non-public client information with reasonable care.
We will not intentionally disclose confidential project information unless required to provide the service, required by law, or agreed with the client.
20. Cancellations, refunds and stalled projects
The payment and cancellation terms for each project will be confirmed in the accepted quote.
Unless agreed otherwise:
- a deposit is payable before work begins
- the deposit covers project setup, planning, administration, review of supplied materials, and reserving time for the project
- if the client cancels before work starts, Get Me Known may refund amounts paid minus any third-party costs or administrative work already reasonably incurred
- if the client cancels after work has started, Get Me Known may charge for work already completed, time spent, project stages completed, and third-party costs already incurred
- final payment is required before production launch, domain connection, transfer of final files, or handover
If a client does not provide required information, feedback, access, approval or payment within a reasonable timeframe, the project may be paused. If the project remains inactive for 30 days or more, Get Me Known may close the project and quote separately to restart it.

22. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Get Me Known is not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or losses caused by third-party services, client delay, incorrect client information, unavailable access details, domain issues, hosting issues, platform outages, or matters outside our reasonable control.

23. Website availability
We aim to keep the Get Me Known website available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
